Hello and welcome to my wedding photography portfolio!
My name is Catherine and I am a Canadian-born natural-light Destination Wedding and Portrait Photographer specializing in the Samara and Carrillo regions of the Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica and the Grand Bend beach region of Ontario, Canada.
I have been photographing destination weddings and engagements throughout the globe for over 7 years now and have built this portfolio using a collection of my best wedding photography photos and knowledge. Viewing these images and sharing them with you brings me so much joy as I reminisce over all the wonderful experiences I have had and new friends I have made as a destination wedding photographer.
I have now decided to focus my work primarily on Playa Samara, Costa Rica and Grand Bend, Ontario. My two most treasured places in the world! Why you ask? Well, I consider myself an expert in each location. I know them like the back of my hand as I’ve spent every summer of my life growing up in Grand Bend and for the past 12 years I’ve travelled to and from Samara every winter as I built my career as a destination wedding photographer. I have close ties within each community and I even speak half decent Spanish which I take time to practice everyday.
I describe my wedding photography as candid, archival, and full of human emotion. I’m not into posed photos and focus on keeping you as chill and organized as possible throughout the entire wedding planning process. When you hire me as your wedding photographer, you choose to work exclusively with me from day one. Think of me not only as your wedding photographer but in addition, your wedding planner, wedding time-keeper, and wedding insider with all the tips and tricks on getting married in the stunning Playa Samara of Costa Rica or the beautiful Grand Bend beach in Ontario.
I love to chat so send me a line via my contact page and we can set up a time for a phone call. I can’t wait to hear about all your wedding wishes and share more about what I can offer you on your big day!
