My name is Cathy, I’m a natural-light destination wedding and portrait photographer who splits her time between Southwestern, Ontario, Canada and Playa Samara in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica.

I’ve been creating fine art travel prints and photographing destination weddings and lifestyle photo sessions for over 7 years now.

There’s nothing I love more than photographing a small, intimate gathering and always look to capture the simplistic beauty in each one. I’m not a huge fan of posed photos (except when needed) and I want each client experience to feel chill, but warm.

In regards to my wedding photography, I don’t offer packages. I work with you to design what works best according to your needs. I’ve never photographed identical weddings. Each couple and event is unique and so I believe your wedding photography should be as well!

I approach lifestyle sessions a bit differently than most. I produce quiet, moody photos done in the glows of sunsets or cozied up at home. I’m definitely not your girl for cake smashes and mini sessions, but I’m all over an intimate engagement, a sultry boudoir, or a sweet maternity photoshoot.

The fine art travel prints that I create and sell offer a further glimpse into my passion for photography. When I was small, I was mezmerized by my parents collection of magazines and books featuring exotic locations of the world. Travel photography is my first love and everytime I share one of those images, I get to relive that experience all over again.
