When Drey started planning this proposal, there were two things he knew (as requested by Gaby for when the special moment arrived) he had to have in place… Nature/water and a photographer. How lucy was I to be a part of this special moment!
The early fall and moody September sky gave this evening a cozy autumn feel. The river was quiet and private and for the most part, it was just us and the loons. Once the question was popped (not a dry eye between the three of us) we spent the better part of an hour on their engagement shoot, meandering our way through the goldenrod filled fields and paths of the Walter Bean Trail. Laughing and chatting about everything that had just happened.
I love these moments and I wish these two all the best as they plan their nuptials and long life ahead. xo
